Be America’s Strongest Man

Be America’s Strongest Man

Get ready to blow away the competition in the President’s Challenge fitness test.

This week, the government launched an online test that asks adults to log their fitness stats in three basic areas: aerobic fitness, muscular strength, and flexibility. The tasks involve walking a mile (or running 1.5 miles), situps, pushups, and a "sit-and-reach" flexibility test.

Sure, it’s a little tame compared to the Men’s Health Challenge, but there’s a hook: When you log your results online, the site gives you a national ranking in your age group. So consider this your chance to experience the C-list athletic glory formerly reserved for World’s Strongest Man competitors and minor league soccer players.

What are you waiting for? Start testing!

THIS Guy Could Get Drafted?!?!

THIS Guy Could Get Drafted?!?!

GenthumbMeet Zachary Feinstein. He’s 5′ 8", 130 pounds of straight-A student at Washington University in St. Louis. And he’s just declared for the NBA draft.

Of course, anyone publicity hound can do this (and they do once every few years), but most of those guys have played since third grade (Feinstein claims he hasn’t). Zach could get big (and more athletic) in a hurry, though, with this workout from the Indiana Pacers.

After that, he could tackle ! the game’s team philosophy, learn to play with style, and get tips on bouncing back from our NBA stars. And if he needs motivation, there’s the man himself: Lebron James.

Now if you’ll excuse us, we have a draft to register for.

Study: World’s Greatest Lovers Coming Too Quickly

Study: World’s Greatest Lovers Coming Too Quickly

When the stars make you drool like pasta fagioli, it’s amore … but women shouldn’t expect it to last all night. Seems young Italian men aren’t always all that in the sack: A study from the University of Florence found that as many as 25 percent suffer from stress-related premature ejaculation, mostly from thinking about work.

If only they had Men’s Health! (Note: They do.) They’d be able to check out our tips for lasting longer in bed or punch up Position Master, with positions designed to maximize her pleasure and employ maximum ejaculatory control (which is just science-speak for more time for pushin’).

The Right Time to Make a Move

The Right Time to Make a Move

Sometimes timing is everything. The decision my husband, Phil, and I made last year — to sell our high-rise condo in a friendly and lively area of North Bethesda and move to a retirement community — was one of those instances.
