Be America’s Strongest Man

Be America’s Strongest Man

Get ready to blow away the competition in the President’s Challenge fitness test.

This week, the government launched an online test that asks adults to log their fitness stats in three basic areas: aerobic fitness, muscular strength, and flexibility. The tasks involve walking a mile (or running 1.5 miles), situps, pushups, and a "sit-and-reach" flexibility test.

Sure, it’s a little tame compared to the Men’s Health Challenge, but there’s a hook: When you log your results online, the site gives you a national ranking in your age group. So consider this your chance to experience the C-list athletic glory formerly reserved for World’s Strongest Man competitors and minor league soccer players.

What are you waiting for? Start testing!
